Settle into your accommodation and then plan to get the non-skiers of your group introduced and comfortable with the slopes at Bryce's Ski School. it was much better when there were less people in the restaurant and no one was at the bar.Known throughout the mid-Atlantic region as the most family-friendly resort, Bryce Resort is a 400-acre year 'round retreat. But the noise volume on the first night was just a bit too much for me. except for the burgers I did not see anything that I thought would appeal to picky eaters or kids. but the menu did not seem as inclusive as the first one. Our second meals were the chicken pot pie (in pastry shell) and a different salmon dish. It was a Thursday so they were having a Burger night. but there was a new menu and pizza was not there. The second time we went in we were looking forward to getting a pizza.

For the price it should have been possible to get a little more of the vegetables. The dishes were both good.but the sides were a little small.

as we have always been told that pork needs to be cooked fully. It was a bit weird to be asked how we wanted the pork cooked. The first night that we ate here there was pizza, tacos and other selections of seemed much more "rounded" for a variety of tastes (and ages). We ate here on 2 occasions.and got two completely different menus. We really would like the resort to get this right More We do not understand all the higher rated reviews. This is not about the price of the food, other places in nearby Woodstock do a much better job with food and service and do not cost as much or any more. The entire experience is typical of our ongoing experiences here - we are resort members and want things to be better. No one came to ask about water or drink refills but were very good about clearing plates (too good). The staff is trying but needs more training. When this dish was delivered, we had to ask twice for little plates. A small bit of plastic wrap was found in the bread accompanying dish. The spinach and artichoke dip was a green cheesy thing with very small chopped up dark green specks (spinach apparently) and no artichoke chunks to be found. Wife had 1/2 dozen chicken wings buffalo sauce which were decent but ranch dressing (should be blue cheese) and carrots (should be celery). a cold pesto sauce next to it and lukewarm round pasta (server mentioned rice and seasonal vegetables). Last night was the last straw: The spring salmon (farm raised) had no seasoning but some chopped scallions. The various incarnations of the restaurant have never been particularly good. We have been coming to the resort for many years as we have a house nearby.
